Barbara Marriane Bullock

Barbel Marriane Bullock, lovingly known as Barbara, Mom, Omi, peacefully passed away at home on her and our father’s beloved, farm, September 30, 2024. Barbara was born July 26, 1938 in Oppeln, Poland. Our mother would spend her childhood growing up during WW 11 although her family would face many hardships, she would often tell us time and again. “what a wonderful childhood” she has. As a young woman Barbara would leave what would become East Germany and find her way into West Germany, where she would eventually meet our father, George who was Security Police in the United States Air Force. And from there, they would marry and begin a family that included Susie, JoAnn, Frank and Bibi. Throughout their marriage and our dad’s time in the Air Force and then as a government employee, our family would be on the move from Germany to different places in the United States. This would go on for many years and our mom would become quite the expert in packing and unpacking, setting up house and taking care of our Dad, us and countless pets. There wasn’t anything our mom couldn’t do. Eventually our Dad would retire and our parents found some beautiful acreage complete with fish pond, to build their dream home, there our Mom would lovingly tend to her flower beds and fuss over the hummingbirds that would visit every summer, or as our dad would tell us. “Supervise” him in my house projects. Our Mom also had a knack for decorating, she loved doing arts n crafts and had a deep appreciation for antiques and could find some of the most beautiful and unique pieces. And our Mom could cook some of the most amazing German meals and she would cook for anyone, always a place at the table, and come Christmas time the house would be filled with the fantastic smells of Christmas Cookies and cakes being baked. But if there is one thing our Mom was really known for was her love of animals. And our parents farm would be at times would be filled with countless rescue animals, not to mention my mom’s geese that she would feed and care for on a daily basis. Our mom was truly one of a kind, a loving wife to our dad for 67 years and amazing mom to her children and an adored Omi for her grandchildren which she loved and spoiled and who loved her dearly Andrew, Henry, Harrison, Olivia, Madeline, Brianna, and Liam, and a son-in-law, Fred who adored her. “A Life Beautifully Lived” Vielleicht bedeutet Liebe auch lernen jemanden gehen zu lassen, wissen wann es Abscheid nehmen heist. Nich zulassen, dass unsere Gefuhle dem im Weg stehen, was am Ende wahrscheilich besser ist fur die, die wir lieben Mit traurigem Herzen und doch schoner Erinnerung nehmen wir Abschied von Meinem Liebevollen Frau und herzensguten Mutter und Omi
