Charles "Chuck" Edward Mull

Charles Edward Mull, affectionately known as Chuck, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2026, at the age of 82. Chuck was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother. Preceded in death by his cherished wife, Anne Jamison Mull, and his son, Paul Mull, Chuck leaves behind a loving family to cherish his memory. He is survived by his devoted daughter, Melissa "Missi" Waldrop and her husband, Craig. He also leaves behind his treasured grandchildren, Crystal Long and her husband, David, and Steven West and his wife, Lacy. His legacy continues through his dear great-grandchildren, Cierra and Trixie. Chuck will be deeply missed by his sister, Rita Hancock, and his brothers, Frank Mull, Jr., and Steve Mull, along with many other relatives and friends who were touched by his kindness and warmth. Chuck was a talented guitar player and could play anything he heard at least once. Music was always a part of his life. As a teenager, he taught his sister Rita to dance, and they would spend hours dancing and listening to records, and would go to the canteen to jitterbug on Friday night. He danced throughout his life, and even met his wife of 30 years, Sandy, on the dance floor. He spent many hours "picking and grinning" with family, and friends, and also playing for Church and at gospel singings. He played with the TrebleAires, and later with the Master Workers, ministering to others through music. Chuck was devoted to his family, was hard working, and took care of everyone. He could fix anything, and was always willing to help in any way he could. He followed his faith and volunteered at church often. He never complained about anything or anyone. Chuck was known for quick witted one liners, that would catch you off guard at first, then make you laugh hysterically. His kindness, optimism and outlook on life was contagious. Later in life, he met Anne. It was love at first sight for both of them. They were inseparable, and they brought so much joy to each other's lives. They made the most of every day together, took care of each other, and enjoyed life. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026, from 5 o'clock until 8 o'clock at Parrott Funeral Home and Crematory, 8355 Senoia Road, Fairburn, GA 30213. A funeral service to honor Chuck's life will take place on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 11 o'clock at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in College Park.
