Cynthia "Cindy" Gail Harris

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Cynthia "Cindy" Gail Harris, on April 26, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on February 11, 1962, Cindy was known and loved by all who crossed her path. Her compassionate spirit and unwavering dedication to helping others led her to a fulfilling career as a self-employed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where she brought comfort and joy to those in need, especially the elderly. Cindy's presence was truly a gift; she possessed an amazing sense of humor and a contagious laugh that filled any room she entered. She never met a stranger, and her warm and welcoming nature earned her the nickname "Sunshine" among friends and acquaintances. With a smile that could brighten even the darkest day, Cindy loved her family deeply and cherished every moment spent with them. The joy of her life was her beloved daughter, Victoria Harris, whom she adored beyond measure. Her artistic talents were evident in her love for painting and sketch drawing, and her passion for music was nurtured in her youth as she played the flute in the Campbell High School marching band. These creative pursuits were expressions of her vibrant spirit and zest for life. Cindy is preceded in death by her mother, Clare Harris Hindman, and her grandparents, Mabel and Sport Harris, as well as Vivian Morrow. She leaves behind her father Earl Hindman, her treasured daughter, Victoria Harris, and a loving fiancé, Jerry Hunt . Cindy is also survived by her devoted sister, Dianna Ojeda (Steve), and brother, Dwight Morrow (Missy). Her extended family includes stepbrothers Ray Hindman (Yanna) and Curtis Hindman (Kendra), stepsisters Tina Emerson (David) and Joy Lovelace (Chris), and nephews DJ Morrow (Christine), Garrett Morrow (Haley), Hunter Morrow, niece Carly Padgett, great-nieces, and a great-nephew. Cindy's best friends, Cheryl Fincher and Kerry Thomas, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and special sisters in love, will forever carry her memory in their hearts. A celebration of Cindy's extraordinary life will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 2 o'clock at Bethany Methodist Church, where her cousin Matt McDade will officiate the service. Those who knew and loved Cindy are invited to join in honoring her legacy by wearing her favorite color, purple to the service. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to St Jude at www.stjude.org or the ALS Foundation at www.als.org. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the caring team at Piedmont Atlanta's Neurology ICU unit. Their support and compassion was amazing during a very difficult time. Cindy will be deeply missed, but her light and love will continue to shine brightly in the lives of all those she touched.
