Dennis Carl Breen, born March 5, 1953, in Pittsburgh, PA, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2024, at the age of 71 in Newnan, Georgia. Dennis was a man who embodied the spirit of hard work, dedication, and a profound love for his family. He began his career with Eastern Airlines, where he worked until the company's closure. He then devoted over 40 years to Island Parts and Supplies, where his remarkable skills and unwavering commitment were evident to all who knew him. Dennis had a deep passion for racing, whether it was NASCAR or dirt track, and he found immense joy in working in his yard, which he considered his pride. His ability to fix anything, from cars to household items, showcased his ingenuity and resourcefulness. Those who had the pleasure of knowing Dennis will fondly remember his quick wit and dry sense of humor, qualities that endeared him to many. A generous soul, Dennis would give you the shirt off his back. He was also a great cook, often heard saying, "just add more butter," a motto that brought smiles and delicious meals to family gatherings. Above all, his family was his pride and joy, especially his children and grandchildren, whom he cherished deeply. Dennis is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Francis Jerome and Sarah Nancy Breen. He is survived by his loving wife, Trenell Breen, with whom he shared nearly 25 beautiful years of marriage since November 26, 1999. He leaves behind a legacy of love through his children: Kristy Snider (Blake), Kevin Breen (Heather), Christopher Davis (Evie), Brittney Millwood (Jake), Alan Smith (Naomi), and Zack Smith. His grandchildren, Nate, Brennan, Ava, Zoe, Connor, Maddy, Hank, and Drake, will forever hold his memory in their hearts. Dennis is also survived by his sister, Pam Wertz, and his brothers, Bill Breen (Barb), Dale Breen (Tami), and David Breen, mother in-law, Linda Harper; brother in-law, Aubrey Harper (Lee); sister in-law, Mae (Harold) several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles and special friend, Cheryl Harper who will continue to honor his memory. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 2 o’clock in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Parrott Funeral Home & Crematory. Dennis Carl Breen’s life was a testament to the beauty of hard work, the importance of family, and the joy found in simple pleasures. His legacy will continue to inspire all who knew and loved him.
