Linda Jean Warr Hilton

Linda Jean Warr Hilton, born on October 5, 1942, embraced life with a heart full of love and compassion until her peaceful passing on October 29, 2024, at the age of 82. Her journey was one of unwavering kindness, as she lived each day with a steadfast dedication to her family and a profound love for country music. Linda's career at Owens Illinois Glass Company marked a chapter in her life where she demonstrated her diligence and commitment. However, it was her role as a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother that truly defined her legacy. She cherished her family above all else, with a special fondness for her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 44 years, Manget Calvin Hilton, her daughters Tabatha Hausenfluck and Terrie Blanton, brothers David Warr and Jack Warr, stepmother Eunice Warr, and parents Loy Warr and Ila Mae Jenkins Warr, Linda is now reunited with them in eternal peace. She leaves behind a loving family who will forever hold her spirit close: children Ricky Warr (Ardy), Debra Warr, Jennifer Howell (William Travis), and Brian Hilton (Keeley); grandchildren Stephen (Amanda), Thomas Wayne, Joseph, Kimberly (Kevin), Travis, Dalton, Austen, Kyle, Normandy, Kasidy, Naomi, and Addison; and great-grandchild Brynna Lynn. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her. Linda had a remarkable ability to keep the peace and extend a helping hand to those in need, no matter the circumstances. Her gentle nature and generous spirit touched many lives, leaving an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. Special thanks are extended to her caregiver, Debra Collins, for her compassionate support during Linda's final days. A celebration of Linda's life will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at 2 o'clock in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Dr. Jimmy Orr officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Parrott Funeral Home. Though she may have been a "country western loving lady," Linda's true passion was the love she shared with her family and friends. Her legacy of kindness and devotion will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.
