Travis Wayne White

Mr. Travis “Wayne” White of Lakemont passed away September 9, 2012. He was a Vietnam Veteran and served 2 tours with the United States Navy Seabees MCB One. Mr. White was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Riverdale and a Yaarab Shriner. He was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local Union #85 and a former business agent with the Local. He is survived by his wife Gale Meacham White of Lakemont; siblings, Aileen White Lewis and her husband Ed of Middleburg, FL; Melvin G. White and his wife Rose of Fayetteville; Jan E. Meacham of Toccoa, GA; nephews, Michael Scott Lewis and his wife, Lesli; Chad White and his wife, Stephanie; great nieces, Cameron Lewis, Kelly Lewis, Molly White; great nephews, Mikey Lewis, Garrett White; numerous cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at 2 o’clock in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Scott Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park. Those wishing may send an online condolence at www.parrottfuneralhome.com.
