Donna Lee Cole

September 15, 1952 - February 12, 2022

Donna Lee Cole went to be with The Lord on February 12, 2022. Born to the late Grace and Michael Passafiume in Cleveland, Ohio, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Cole, sister, Maryann Passafiume, and nephew, Michael Amis. Donna had a heart of gold, she never knew a stranger. Everyone referred to her as Aunt Donna, Sweet Donna or Nana. She loved to travel, to listen to live music, to dance, and to cheer on her Steelers. You could always find her poolside tanning and surrounded by friends and family. Her faith in God was shown by the kindness of her heart. She was a shoulder on which to cry, an ear to listen, and a warm embrace for those who needed it. Growing up in Miami Florida, she moved back to Fayetteville in 2001 where she met many forever friends and spent her days surrounded by family. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Tammy Marks (Jay), Christine Ford (Art) and sister Bernadette Amis (Robert), her precious grandchildren Jorden, Tucker, Laila and Kiara and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Parrott Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 11 o'clock at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for plants that the family can nurture as Donna did for so many.
