Gail Middleton Downs

February 5, 1947 - February 12, 2022

Mrs. Gail Middleton Downs, age 75, of Senoia, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022. She was born February 5, 1947 to the late James Oscar and Hazel Middleton. Mrs. Downs was employed at Delta Airlines for 35 years, where she worked in revenue accounting. She was a member of the DDA for Senoia for 19 years. During this time she was instrumental in many city planning events including cruising to the oldies car show and the Memorial Day celebration. For 17 years, Gail was a merchant on Main Street at Gail’s Antiques. She was a longtime member of New Hope Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Downs and is survived by her sons, B.J. Downs and his wife, Elizabeth, Josh Downs and his wife, Jennifer; sister, Debbie Hindman and her husband, Don; brother-in-law, Tim Downs and his wife, Wynette; grandchildren, Caden, Mason, Harper, Finley, Hadley; nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Sunday, February 20, 2022 at 2 o’clock in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Dr. Hugh Kirby officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery.
