Mr. Jackie Louis Green, age 85, of Tyrone, GA passed away Friday, April 1, 2022. He was an active member at the Rock Baptist Church and served on the board of many various Christian organizations. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jasper and Gertrude Green; brother, Eugene Green and sister-in-law, Carolyn Green. He is survived by his brother, Joe Green (Barbara) of Riverdale, GA; sister, Patricia Hall (Steve) of Big Canoe, GA; nieces and nephews, Joe Green (Michele), Brenda Thomas, Tim Green (Laura), Jeff Green (Carley), Amanda Vanhorn (Adam), Miki Miller (Josh), Stephen Hall (Adrienne); great nieces and nephews, Breanna Kittrell (Todd), Christi Gilbert (John), Hunter, Benjamin, Daniel, Rebecca, Asher, Axel, Charlie, Carson; great-great nieces and nephews, Hadley, Michael, Addison; numerous cousins; and special friend, Ms. Betty. A funeral service will be held Monday, April 4, 2022 at 11 o’clock at The Rock Baptist Church with Pastor Lendell Ainsworth and Pastor Daniel DeJong officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens, 364 E Church St., Jasper, GA 30143, at 3:00 on Monday. Those wishing may sign the online guestbook at www.parrottfuneralhome.com.
