Mrs. Jessie Dodson, age 104, of Newnan passed away October 2, 2020. Jessie was born in Fulton County, GA on May 13, 1916 to the late Era and W.B. Adams. Her husband, Lawrence Dodson, preceded her in death February 18, 1995. She is survived by her daughter, Elaine Stanfield and her husband, Preston of Newnan and son, Doug Dodson and his wife, Marilyn of Dawsonville, GA; grandchildren, Annette Dalton and her husband Derrick of Newnan, Everett Stanfield and his wife Tammy of Newnan, Cheryl Dodson Bullard and her husband Jon of Edgewater, FL, Brian Dodson and his wife Paige Patterson of Alexander City, AL; great grandchildren, Dylan Dalton, Mattie Dalton, Kate Stanfield, Brianna Harris and her husband Josh, Sydney Bullard, Barrett and Brice Dodson. Jessie loved God, her family and friends. She enjoyed a lifetime of sewing and helping people. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5, 2020 at 11 o’clock in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Dr. Jerry Cross officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park.
