Mr. Kenneth Wayne “Bud” Grubbs, age 82, of Palmetto, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020. He was born May, 27, 1938 to the late Richard Grubbs and Sara Rosa Haynie Grubbs. He was employed at Eastern Airlines as a mechanic for almost 30 years. He was preceded in death by his sister, Thedrel Grubbs; brothers, Theodore Slim Grubbs, Lonnie Grubbs, Robert Grubbs, Marion Pete Grubbs, James Grubbs; an infant sister, Sara Grubbs; and his daughter in-law, Kathy Grubbs. He is survived by his wife, Corene Payton Grubbs of Palmetto; his children, Timothy Grubbs of Newnan, Jerry Grubbs and his wife, Laurie of Newnan, Norma Waters and her husband, Marney of Dallas, Jeff Grubbs and his wife, Sandy of Palmetto; grandchildren, Ryan Grubbs and his wife, Rebecca, Stephanie Rice and her husband, Patrick, Rebecca Page and her husband, Matt, Wesley Grubbs and his wife, Dee, Hannah McCullough and her husband, Marcus; great grandchildren, Carter, Mattis, and Lydia. A funeral service will be held Sunday, January 3, 2021 at 2 o’clock in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Rev. Sammy Orr officiating. Interment to follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park.
