Vicki Lynn LeClaire

June 26, 1970 - March 8, 2022

VICKI LYNN LECLAIRE (KNOX) Vicki Lynn LeClaire, 51, of Fayetteville, GA, passed away on March 8, 2022, after a courageous battle with AML Leukemia. Vicki was born on June 26, 1970, to her parents Don and Charlotte Knox in Macomb, IL. After graduating from Macomb High School in 1986 she went on to study Biology and Accounting at several Universities Including Western Illinois, Northern Michigan, and the University of Wisconsin Green Bay. After completing her studies Vicki decided to Focus on raising her children and being an active member in the schools and communities, she resided in. Later in early adulthood Vicki was able to combine her education and passion and establish a Nationally Known Exotic Bird Rescue Called Miss Vicki’s Parrot Village. During the tenure of the rescue Vicki was able to help 100’s of families, transition 100’s of beautiful birds and make a difference with the time she had. In 1987, Vicki met her Husband Jim LeClaire while attending Western Illinois University. Vicki and Jim went on to have two children, Jared, and Madison. Vicki spent her leisure time out “Jeepin” with her beloved Jeep Wrangler, collecting and liquidating estates and volunteering for causes she believed in. Vicki is survived by her mother and Father Don and Charlotte Knox, stepsister Amy Howe (Knox), stepbrother Todd Knox and Scott Knox. A private service will be held at the Parrot Funeral Home in Fairburn, GA on Friday 03-11-22 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society at www.lls.org a cause Vicki felt strongly about.
