Ronald "Chad" Ealy

Ronald “Chad” Ealy, 53, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2025. He was born on October 23, 1972, in Huntsville, Alabama. Chad was a devoted father, beloved son, treasured brother, and deeply cherished friend whose warmth, humor, and kindness left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him. Chad was the proud father of his daughter, Mabel Grace, who was the light of his life. He is survived by his parents, Ron Ealy (Sandy) and Sharon Whitfield; his daughter, Mabel Grace and her mother, Heidi; his sisters, Kelley Queen (Matt) and Megan Ealy; his brothers, Andrew Whitfield (Lauren) and Eric Epps; his nieces, Ansley Paul (Harrison), Ellie Barraford, Beaulais and Georgia Whitfield; and his nephews, Will Queen (Sadie) and Jake Queen. He is also fondly remembered by extended family and a wide circle of friends who loved him dearly. Chad was a graduate of the University of Georgia, where he was a proud member of Sigma Phi Epsilon and earned his bachelor’s degree in finance. He continued his education at Wake Forest University, earning a master’s degree in both finance and marketing. A devoted Georgia Bulldogs fan, Chad truly bled red and black and never missed an opportunity to cheer on his Dawgs. As a member of The Church of the Apostles, Chad valued his faith and church community. Above all else, his greatest achievement and the love of his life was his daughter, Mabel Grace. Being her father was his proudest role and his greatest joy. Chad was deeply loved and will be fondly remembered by a wide circle of friends from many different walks of life. He cherished his friendships and took great joy in sharing memories; often retelling old stories that never seemed to grow old, especially when they ended in laughter. Known for his quick wit, kindness, and rare ability to make everyone feel loved and important, Chad had a special gift for connection, often reflected in the nicknames he gave others and in the joy he found being surrounded by friends and reliving the moments that bound them. A service celebrating Chad’s life will be held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 at Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, GA. The family will welcome friends and family at 10:00 AM, followed by a service in the chapel at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to The Church of the Apostles Congregational Care ministry in Chad’s honor.
