Tim Parrott, funeral service has been a lifelong career and a family business that began with a vision of his own. As President of Parrott Funeral Home & Crematory, Tim has spent more than five decades in the profession, gaining experience, building relationships, and ultimately creating a funeral home that has become a familiar name to generations of families.

Tim graduated from Campbell High School in Fairburn in 1975 and earned his degree from Gupton Jones College of Mortuary Science in 1978. He spent the next 20 years at Herschel McDaniel Funeral Home, where he built the foundation of his career. In 1993, Tim took a leap of faith and opened Parrott Funeral Home & Crematory. More than 30 years later, he continues to lead the funeral home and remains involved in its daily operations.

Tim and his wife, Marsha, have been married since 1977 and live in Tyrone, Georgia. They have three children—Heather, Ashley, and Hunter—and eight grandchildren. Family has always been an important part of Tim's life, and he especially enjoys the time he spends with his children and grandchildren.

Away from the funeral home, Tim enjoys golfing, fishing, spending time at the beach, and being outdoors. He and Marsha attend Dogwood Church in Tyrone.

Tim takes great pride in what Parrott Funeral Home has become since opening its doors in 1993. From the people who have worked alongside him to the families who have walked through the doors over the years, the funeral home has been a significant part of his life. Today, Tim continues to look toward the future while remaining true to the vision that started it all.

Marsha Parrott, Vice President of Parrott Funeral Home & Crematory, has been part of the business since its beginning in 1993. Alongside her husband, Tim, she helped turn their idea of opening a funeral home into a reality and has watched Parrott Funeral Home grow from its early days into the business it is today.

A 1975 graduate of Campbell High School in Fairburn, Marsha has spent more than three decades helping shape the family business. While much of her work has taken place behind the scenes, her involvement has touched many aspects of the funeral home over the years. She has been a steady presence as the business has grown, changed, and welcomed new generations of the Parrott family into the fold.

Marsha and Tim have been married since 1977 and make their home in Tyrone, Georgia. They have three children—Heather, Ashley, and Hunter—and eight grandchildren. Her family is one of the greatest joys in her life, and she especially treasures the time she spends with her grandchildren.

Outside of the funeral home, Marsha enjoys playing tennis, cooking, reading, gardening, and spending time at the beach. She loves being outdoors and finding time for the things that bring her family together. Marsha and Tim attend Dogwood Church in Tyrone.

For Marsha, Parrott Funeral Home is much more than a place of business. It is something she and Tim built together, a part of their family's history, and a place where she has spent more than 30 years of her life. She takes great pride in seeing the next generation become part of the story they started in 1993.

Heather Parrott Champion has been a full-time member of the Parrott Funeral Home & Crematory team since 2000. As the daughter of Tim and Marsha Parrott, Heather grew up around the funeral home and has known its people, routines, and traditions for most of her life. Joining the family business was a natural continuation of the life she had already grown up knowing.

A 1999 graduate of Sandy Creek High School, Heather went on to attend Gupton Jones College of Mortuary Science, graduating in 2002. Her years spent around the funeral home as a child gave her a unique perspective on the profession, and she has now spent more than two decades building a career of her own within the family business.

Heather lives in Tyrone with her husband, Jason, whom she married in 2017. She is the proud mom of Parker and Ryder. Her boys keep her busy, and she wouldn't have it any other way. She especially enjoys being on the sidelines for their football games and cheering them on as they grow and pursue the things they love.

When she's away from the funeral home, Heather enjoys gardening, cooking, shopping, reading, and spending time with her family. Whether she's working in the garden, trying a new recipe, or watching her boys play, she enjoys the simple things that fill her time outside of work.

After more than 20 years at Parrott Funeral Home, Heather has experienced the business from a unique perspective. She grew up watching her parents build it, eventually became part of the team herself, and now has the opportunity to help carry the family business into its next chapter.

Hunter Parrott has been a full-time member of the Parrott Funeral Home & Crematory team since 2013. As the youngest of Tim and Marsha Parrott's three children, Hunter grew up knowing the funeral home as both his family's business and a familiar part of everyday life. Today, he has built a career of his own within the business his parents started.

A 2009 graduate of Sandy Creek High School, Hunter attended the University of North Georgia, earning his degree in 2013. He then continued his education at Gupton Jones College of Mortuary Science, graduating in 2015. Having grown up around the funeral home, Hunter had a firsthand understanding of the profession long before he officially joined the team.

Hunter lives in Senoia with his wife, Kali, whom he married in 2015, and their two children, Hudson and Rylee. Family plays a big role in Hunter's life, and he enjoys making the most of his time with his wife and children when he's away from work.

Outside of the funeral home, Hunter enjoys playing golf, spending time outdoors, and coaching youth baseball. Coaching has become an especially meaningful part of his life, giving him the chance to work with young players, watch them develop their skills, and be part of their lives both on and off the field.

As part of the second generation of the Parrott family, Hunter represents the future of a business that his parents began more than 30 years ago. He takes pride in being part of that history while helping shape what comes next.

Ashley Parrott McEvoy has been part of the Parrott Funeral Home & Crematory family for most of her life. Working in the office, Ashley is one of those people who seems to know what needs to be done before anyone has to ask. She keeps up with the details, helps keep everyone organized, and is always willing to jump in wherever she is needed. She is a huge part of what keeps the day-to-day operation of the funeral home running smoothly.

Ashley is a 2000 graduate of Sandy Creek High School. She continued her education at Young Harris College, graduating in 2002, followed by the University of Georgia, where she graduated in 2005. She later earned her degree from Walden University in 2007. Her education, along with her many years around the funeral home, has given her a unique understanding of the business and the people she works alongside.

Ashley lives in Senoia with her husband, Greg, whom she married in 2009, and their four sons—Cooper, Cade, Brody, and Reed. At home, Ashley embraces her role as the family's “chaos coordinator,” keeping up with four busy boys and all that comes with raising a house full of sons. She brings plenty of humor to the job and wouldn't trade it for anything.

When she's not at the funeral home, Ashley enjoys hiking, reading, working on puzzles, and, most of all, spending time with her family. She and her family are members of Southside Church.

Those who work with Ashley know just how much she does behind the scenes. She's the person people turn to when they need something figured out, handled, organized, or simply taken care of. Her knowledge of the funeral home, willingness to help, and ability to keep things moving make her an invaluable part of the Parrott team.

Jackie Reardon has been a full-time member of the Parrott Funeral Home & Crematory team since 2005. Over more than two decades, she has grown alongside the funeral home, taking on many responsibilities over the years and becoming a familiar face to the people who walk through its doors. For Jackie, funeral service is more than a profession—it has become a significant part of her life.

A 1997 graduate of Westover High School in Albany, Georgia, Jackie went on to attend Gupton Jones College of Mortuary Science, graduating in 2005. She began her career at Parrott Funeral Home that same year and has remained part of the team ever since.

Born in New Jersey, Jackie moved to Georgia in 1996 and has called Georgia home ever since. She lives in Newnan with her husband, Jason, whom she married in 2004. Together, they have two daughters, Olivia and Savannah. Jackie and Jason are incredibly proud of both of their daughters and the women they are becoming. Olivia serves in the United States Marine Corps, which has given the family another reason to be especially proud.

Outside of work, Jackie likes to stay busy. She enjoys working out, gardening, raising chickens, traveling, and spending as much time outdoors as possible. She loves staying active, exploring new places, and making memories with her family.

After more than 20 years at Parrott Funeral Home, Jackie has experienced nearly every side of the funeral business. She takes pride in being someone her coworkers can depend on and in the relationships she has built throughout the years. What started as a career in 2005 has become a large part of who she is, filled with countless experiences, friendships, and memories along the way.

Will Wright joined the Parrott Funeral Home & Crematory team after pursuing a career centered around caring for others and serving his community. He brings a unique combination of education, experience, and a genuine commitment to helping families during some of life’s most difficult moments.

A 2015 graduate of East Fairmont High School in Fairmont, West Virginia, Will went on to attend Fairmont State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music in 2019. He later continued his education at Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science, graduating in 2023 and beginning his career in funeral service.

Will lives in Newnan with his wife, Chyna, whom he married in 2018, and their two children, Linden and Sedona. Family is an important part of Will’s life, and he enjoys spending as much time as possible with his wife and children.

Outside of the funeral home, Will enjoys reading, working in the yard, and spending time outdoors with his family. Music continues to be an important part of his life as well. He is a member of the First United Methodist Church Chancel Choir and The Masterworks Chorale in Newnan, allowing him to continue sharing his love of music with the community.

Will is proud to be part of the Parrott Funeral Home team and to have the opportunity to serve families with compassion, respect, and professionalism.

Andrea Lanford has been a full-time member of the Parrott Funeral Home & Crematory team since 1999. Over the years, Andrea has become an important part of the Parrott family, known for the relationships she has built and the genuine care she brings to her work. Her many years at Parrott have given her the opportunity to experience countless changes, milestones, and memories alongside the people she works with and the families she has come to know.

A 1983 graduate of Campbell High School, Andrea has spent much of her life in the area. She has always valued the people around her and the friendships she has formed throughout the years.

One of Andrea's important responsibilities at Parrott is overseeing Loyal Companion Pet Crematory, the pet cremation service operated by Parrott Funeral Home. Andrea takes great pride in this part of her work and understands how important a beloved pet can be to a family. Through Loyal Companion, she helps ensure that pets are treated with the same respect and attention to detail that families have come to expect from Parrott Funeral Home.

Andrea lives in Sharpsburg with her husband, John, whom she married in 1995. They have three sons—Brandon, Stephen, and Austin—and five grandchildren: Brandon, Ethan, Aiden, Koe, and Kamp. Her grandchildren hold a special place in her heart, and she especially enjoys any opportunity to spend time with them and watch them grow.

When she isn't at the funeral home, Andrea enjoys camping, biking, hiking, and spending time at the beach and lake. She especially enjoys being outdoors with her family and making memories with her children and grandchildren. Andrea is also a member of Crossroads Church.

Stephen Smith has been a full-time member of the Parrott Funeral Home & Crematory team since 2023. His background in leadership, military service, and business has given him a unique perspective that he brings to his work each day. His years of experience have shaped the professionalism, dedication, and sense of responsibility he brings to the Parrott team.

A graduate of Sandy Creek High School, Stephen continued his education at the University of Phoenix, where he earned a B.A. in Business Administration. He later attended the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service, preparing for a career in funeral service. Stephen also proudly served his country in the United States Army, retiring with the rank of First Sergeant. His military career instilled in him a strong sense of leadership, responsibility, and service—qualities that continue to influence him today.

Stephen and his wife, Charity, have been married since 2004. Together, they have four children—Noelle, Georgia, Lance, and Lillian. Family is an important part of Stephen's life, and he enjoys spending time with them whenever he is away from the funeral home.

Outside of work, Stephen enjoys fishing and cheering on the Atlanta Braves. He and his family are members of Harvest Baptist Tabernacle.

Stephen brings a wealth of life and professional experience to Parrott Funeral Home. From his years in the military to his education and career in funeral service, he has built a life centered around leadership, responsibility, and being there when others need him.

Paul Cook joined the Parrott Funeral Home & Crematory team in 2020. With his friendly personality and easygoing nature, Paul quickly became someone the team could count on. He enjoys being around people, lending a hand, and being part of the Parrott family.

A 1987 graduate of Campbell High School, Paul went on to attend the University of Georgia, graduating in 1991.

Paul and his wife, Stacey, have been married since 1994. They have two daughters, Rachel and Caroline, and are grandparents to AJ and Jack, with another grandchild on the way. Being a husband, father, and especially a grandfather is a big part of what makes Paul happiest. He loves spending time with his family and making memories with his grandchildren.

A lifelong Georgia fan, Paul enjoys following University of Georgia athletics and cheering on the Atlanta Braves. He also enjoys water skiing and spending time outdoors with his family. Paul and his family attend Southwest Christian Church.

For Paul, family, friendships, and being able to help others are important parts of life. He appreciates the friendships he has made at Parrott and enjoys being part of a team where everyone works together and looks out for one another.

David Perkins has been part of the Parrott Funeral Home & Crematory team for many years, and his easygoing personality and willingness to lend a hand have made him a familiar and trusted face to both families and fellow team members. David enjoys the opportunity to help wherever he is needed and being part of the work that goes into caring for families during difficult times.

A 1978 graduate of Fayette County High School, David is retired from Chick-fil-A. His years of experience and connection to the local community have given him a strong appreciation for the people and families he has the opportunity to serve.

David and his wife, Renee, have two children, Kevin and Georgia, and one grandchild. He enjoys spending time with his family and making the most of time together whenever they can get together.

When he has time away from the funeral home, you will most likely find David outdoors. He enjoys riding his ATV on the trails, getting outside, and simply enjoying the things he loves. David and his family are members of Southwest Christian Church.

David considers his time at Parrott Funeral Home an opportunity to give back to the community he has been a part of for so many years. He takes pride in helping families and in being part of a team that treats every family with care and compassion.

Steve Entrekin has been a part-time member of the Parrott Funeral Home & Crematory team since 2010. Known for his friendly nature, dependability, and willingness to help, Steve enjoys being part of a team that has served generations of families throughout the community.

A 1967 graduate of Campbell High School, Steve is retired from Delta Air Lines. He has spent much of his life in the local area and values the opportunity to continue serving the community through his work at Parrott Funeral Home.

Steve and his wife, Sheila, have shared their lives together since marrying in 1983. They live in Sharpsburg and are the proud parents of three children—Stacy, Robin, and Chad—and grandparents to nine grandchildren. Steve especially enjoys the time he is able to spend with his family and considers those relationships one of the greatest blessings in his life.

When he isn't at the funeral home, Steve enjoys the outdoors. Fishing, hunting, working outside, and spending time at the lake are some of his favorite ways to spend his free time. Steve and Sheila are members of Palmetto Baptist Church.

After more than a decade of serving alongside the Parrott Funeral Home team, Steve remains grateful for the opportunity to help families during some of life's most difficult moments. His genuine kindness, steady presence, and willingness to serve make him a valued part of the Parrott Funeral Home family.

Walter Brown has been a part-time member of the Parrott Funeral Home & Crematory team since 2007, bringing many years of life experience, dependability, and a caring presence to the families he serves. With deep roots in the local community, Walter takes great pride in being part of a team dedicated to caring for families with compassion, respect, and personal attention.

A 1960 graduate of Russell High School, Walter is a retired employee of Delta Air Lines. His many years of professional and life experience, along with his longstanding ties to the community, have made him a valued member of the Parrott Funeral Home team.

Walter lives in Fairburn with his wife, Carol, whom he married in 1966. Together, they have two children, Jason and Jennifer, as well as 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Family is an important part of Walter’s life, and he especially treasures the time he spends with his growing family.

Outside of the funeral home, Walter enjoys yard work, hunting, and spending time outdoors. He and his family are members of Peachtree City Christian Church.

Walter is proud to be part of the Parrott Funeral Home team and is grateful for the opportunity to serve local families. His dependability, life experience, and genuine care for others are a valued part of the compassionate, personal care that has been a tradition at Parrott Funeral Home for generations.
